THE PARTY:

Rock-n-Platinum kicks off with a one-night only preview and party, with live performances by Ben Lee, BlueSkyReality, as well a mash-up session with DJ Axel. Proceeds from the sale of tickets will benefit charity partner Habitat for Humanity of Greater LA.

THE STORY:

Rock-n-Platinum is a one-of-a-kind showcase that interprets music through design and celebrates the confluence of art, architecture, design and rock-n-roll. Once the site of a legendary recording studio, this urban lot will now be home to a new state-of-the-art (expected) LEED Platinum live/work loft development designed by Pugh + Scarpa.  But rather than allow another Hollywood landmark to bite the dust, REthink Development is paying homage to decades of music history and putting a bit of rock-n-roll back into the new Lofts @ Cherokee Studios.

THE SHOWCASE:

Dennis Design Group designs Alice Cooper.

Rogerio Carvalheiro designs David Bowie.
As a man who has never been afraid to push the boundary, Bowie’s art has always transcended time and trends. In the same daring spirit, Rogerio creates the consummate bachelor’s pad for the man who just fell to earth; a space that will reflect Bowie’s timeless style and otherworldly elegance. Jennifer Siegal & Sandra Sharma design 30 Seconds to Mars
Inspired by the A Beautiful Lie, 30 Seconds to Mars' video that focused on the melting polar ice caps, the Sharma/Siegal-designed penthouse merges organic and repurposed objects with high-end modern furniture and art. For more information on Jennifer and Sandra, click here.

THE MODEL:

The model penthouse unit is designed by Cisco Home in their signature style; simple, sustainable, and sophisticated.
